Hardware development

We have the expertise to design a wide range of electronic and computer systems. We tend to specialise in systems that are embedded, fitted inside larger systems. Our emphasis is on small, battery powered systems, with wireless connectivity.

Vending machines more

Various projects involving Chip and PIN on vending machines. We have worked on a number of innovative and exciting projects, focusing on adding Chip and PIN to standard vending machines.

Live!Label more

A simple electronic label for messaging in galleries and museums. This required electronic design of the internal electronics, based on a MIPS processor, with some software development, to support the needs of the system. We provided a simple but attractive case, developed from our ideas used on FocalPoint.

FocalPoint more

Touchscreen interactive for use in galleries and museums. Our emphasis here is on design of the housing, encasing a standard computer system in a beautiful, well-designed and effective housing.

MP3 player

MP3 players providing audio descriptions embedded in other devices. We designed the hardware to be housed in existing equipment such as a telephone. The idea is to dot such devices around a museum, to provide commentary for visitors.

Puppeteer more

Puppeteer is a StrongARM-based embedded computer, using Embedded Java for programming. It has Ethernet, RS232 and multiple lines of digital and analogue inputs and outputs.
