Summer BBQ 03-07-2019
This month saw the departure of Mihai, after 2 years working at Xor Systems. We decided to mark his leaving, and also to celebrate summer, with a barbecue, held on the Science Park’s front garden.
Tom is one of our Software Engineers here at Xor Systems; not only is he a dab hand at code but he also turned out to be an amazing BBQ cook and organised the whole thing, set up the BBQ, brought badminton nets and great food. We had lovely weather, on the menu were beef, lamb and veggie burgers, potato salad, and other wonderful food.
Mihai brought the cider and said goodbye, Jeff dug up his ancient badminton skills, Dave proved his years with the MoD helped the accuracy of his play and Jake failed as he always does with bat games. Luke brought along his drone and shot the footage in the video below (which also shows off the Science Park in its glory). We played badminton out in the sun for a good few hours and Tom found time in between cooking to handily beat all challengers.
